David Fokos has a rare perspective with landscapes both natural and industrial. His photographs capture a world where time stands still, where moments merge together to form a single portrait in still life. By pushing his shutter to the limit, his lens sees the world in the slowest of motion, using the camera’s “unique ability to ‘average time’”. David Fokos carefully constructs a frame, sets his shutter speed slow and lets nature paint the picture. The result is a striking series of images in quiet, calming black-and-white.
