The Escola Bressol Nursery by Batlle i Roig Arquitectes is a child friendly building and environment located in Barcelona, Spain. This industrial style building sits on an extra piece of land at the recently finished Malaga Gardens. Outdoor enclosed spaces provide areas for playing and simple gardening while the interior is colorful and inviting for young children. Outdoor play space is not only limited to the ground floor, but rather every floor has an enclosed safe area to enjoy fresh air. The top floor of the nursery cantilevers over the entrance and allows for lots of space to roam, play and learn.
