The Dutch design collective La Bolleur has reconstructed the classic game of mini golf in a decidedly design-forward fashion. La Bolleur’s take on mini golf has gone from astroturf and water fountains to the high art scene in Milan, Italy. The art shown at Via Vogehra 11 now is both playful and interactive, a nine hole course of mini golf with an ajoined bar and clubhouse. In a time when art galleries can be a bit too stuffy and serious for their own good, this throwback to childhood enjoyment is something we could certainly stand back and admire… when we’re not playing the game, of course.
